She will motivate you by setting goals and providing feedback and accountability. She will also measure your strengths and weaknesses with fitness assessments.
Q: What is personal training?
Individual training and fitness programs. Effective exercises are taught, and you are assisted in the achievement of personal fitness and wellness goals. Q: What sets Juliet apart from other trainers?
Juliet is knowledgeable in a range of health and fitness disciplines including exercise physiology, nutrition, anatomy, training program development, exercise application, health screening, and fitness assessments. She also has experience with a range of clients from youth to seniors, and a variety of fitness goals including injury rehabilitation, flexibility training, and strength conditioning. Her holistic approach towards health and fitness involves considering the 6 components of wellness; physical, emotional, spiritual, social, intellectual, and occupational. In viewing this integration of components, Juliet can determine what contributes to your own quality of life.
Q: What do I need to bring when we work out?
Plenty of water and, if you would like, a medium sized towel to wipe off perspiration.
Q:What should I wear?
Quality cross-trainer sneakers and comfortable work-out clothes. Dress according to the weather.
Q: Will I be able to keep up?
Yes, but it’s important to go at your own pace when starting out and gradually increase your level of intensity as you get stronger (and you will).
Q: Will I be sore?
You will most likely experience soreness after the first week of exercise. That is to be expected and will lessen as you get stronger and more flexible. It is very important to perform full body stretches and use a foam roller to massage those hot spots on a daily basis to help with soreness and to prevent injury.
Q: What if I have a pre-existing injury or medical condition?
You must disclose all your injuries and medical conditions when you register and you will be asked to agree to the terms and conditions set forth by the instructor, Juliet Gould. In most situations, Juliet can modify exercises.
